Eligibility Requirements
- Available for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and residential customers
- Primary or authorised account holder of an active energy account
- Business customers need a valid ABN/ACN and authorised representation
- No outstanding energy bills with your energy retailer
- Maintain a qualifying credit score
- No revoking CIMET's right to act on your behalf in order to switch plans
- No fixed price agreement or fixed contract with your energy retailer
- No life support equipment requiring continuous power at the property
- The property must be in NSW, VIC, SA, ACT, or southeast QLD
- The property must not be part of an embedded network or use a non-quotable meter

Open Energy explained
Consumer Data Rights (CDR) for energy, or open energy, allows you to access and share your energy data with accredited third parties to access better deals on electricity and gas bills. Open energy is strictly regulated by the Australian government.
Once you consent to share your energy data with hipages energy, we use the data representative, CIMET, and the accredited data recipient, Fiskil, to securely transfer your data and compare plans with other energy providers. Fiskil is accredited by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
